Quarantine School

So we are now in the “quarantine school” part of our lives. Never thought this would happen. I am calling it “quarantine school” because home-school kids get to go on adventures and there will be none of that now. 

We are now having to teach our children in a way that we never learned. So at our home the boys will learn how their Dad and I were taught! Carry the 1, right? 

Teaching this way is going to cause a lot of discomfort for both parties. Probably me more! My house has a few oils that will help with focus, In-Tune (a focus blend), Thinker (the kids version of In-Tune) and Adaptiv (a calming blend). There are several others as well but these are fabulous.

You have read in the past about the In-Tune with my dog and how well it worked. Well guess what? It works that great on my kids too!

Blake plays baseball and I am pretty good about using In-Tune at each game. One game I forgot to put it on him. He pitches the first inning and it was less than good. He came to the dug out and called me over. He said “Get the oil!”. So, he oiled up and his pitching improved A LOT!! After that he began oiling the other players on the team.

Wesley is more of an Adaptiv kid. He needs more help calming himself from stress. This is going to be a trying time for him because he likes and needs the structure of school. This is an oil we will put on every morning during “quarantine school”.

The Thinker oil is great as well and have used it several times with my kids and with 4-H animals. Both boys, their steers and the lamb used Thinker last year during our fair to keep them all focused.
